Vugar Samadli boasts over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, having worked for globally renowned companies.

Mr. Samadli is the Head of Energy at NEQSOL Holding and Chief Executive Officer of Nobel Energy (formerly Nobel Oil Services), the energy group within the Holding.

Vugar Samadli assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Nobel Energy in 2017 due to his exceptional management of the energy group’s operations and significant contributions towards advancing the company’s objectives. Before taking on the CEO position, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Nobel Energy from 2015 to 2017. His journey with the Nobel Energy group began in 2013 when he joined as the General Director of Global Energy Solutions, an affiliate company of Nobel Energy.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Samadli held leadership positions, including General Director at Oil and Gas ProServ, a joint venture involving SOCAR, Siemens, and Target Petroleum. Before that, he was the Regional Manager at John Crane Middle East from 2009 to 2013. Prior to this, Mr. Samadli held executive roles at DET-AL Holding and Azelektroterm.

His professional journey began in 2003 at BP, where Mr. Samadli actively contributed to significant projects and rapidly ascended to prominent positions within the company.

In 2019, he received “The Taraggi Medal” in Azerbaijan for his notable contributions to the country's oil industry development.

Mr. Samadli holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. He also possesses a Project Management diploma from George Washington University and has pursued an executive MBA with SMITH Group. Currently, Mr. Samadli is actively involved in scientific research for his PhD dissertation in Chemical-Mechanical Engineering at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
